PURPOSE:The titled sintered material having improved chemical resistance, heat resistance, and mechanical strength, obtained by sintering a mixture of a specific polyamide-imide resin and a fluorine-contained resin under heating at a specific temperature. CONSTITUTION:(A) A polyamide-imide resin shown by the formulaI(Ar is trifunctional aromatic group containing one or more benzene rings; R is bifunctional organic group) or shown by the formula II (Ar is aromatic ring; n=5-200) is blended with (B) a fluorine-contained resin (e.g., polytetrafluoroethylene, etc.) in such a way that the amount of the component B is 0.005-50wt%, preferably 5-35wt% based on mixed powder of the components A and B. The mixed powder is compression molded into a fixed shape, and heated at a temperature >= the softening temperature of the polyamide-imide resin and <= its decomposition temperature, to give the desired sintered material. |
