<p>PURPOSE:To rationalize the process for applying powder adhesive to a coil by spraying a thermocompression type adhesive powder to one or a plurality of faces of a work, fusing the powder adhered onto the work, and then solidifying the fused powder at normal temperature. CONSTITUTION:A thermocompression type adhesive powder is sprayed uniformly by means of a spray gun 15 and adheres only to the upper side of a work 11. The work 11 is then transferred on a conveyor 13 to a fusion furnace chamber where the powder adhering to the work is fused. Since the powder itself is distributed with low density, it does not droop downward. The adhesive layer formed on the work 11 is solidified at normal temperature when the work 11 is discharged from the furnace chamber 12 and thereby adhesion of dust is suppressed during storage or distribution. Furthermore, since no special adhesive sheet is employed, subsequently adhesion work is simplified, the work for removing excess adhesive is not required, and the quality of core is improved.</p> |
