<p>PURPOSE:To provide a high efficiency biological deodorizing method using a granulated loess containing composition for a fixed water spray filter bed, which is free from water disintegration property and on which a microorganism having malodor decomposition activity is carried. CONSTITUTION:Deodorization is executed by passing a malodorous component through a deodorizing microorganism immobilized filter bed formed by arranging the granulated loess containing composition carrying a deodorizing microorganism and, as necessary, a granulated activated carbon containing composition at the front and rear thereof while intermittently spraying water to proliferate the microorganism in high density. As a result, sufficient water holding, gas contact surface area and high density cultivation of the microorganism are secured and excellent deodorizing effect is attained by constituting a microorganism holding carrier so as to be added with the granulated loess containing composition, and as necessary, the granulated activated carbon containing composition.</p> |
