<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a finger of an operator from inserting between a head part and an anvil part of a staple device carelessly in a finisher with the staple device. SOLUTION: A staple sorter for staple processing a sheet bundle divided by a plurality of bins by a staple device 70. The staple device 70 has a head part 71 for placing a staple and an anvil part 72 for receiving the staple and a drive gear 76 of a head 73. The head 73 is moved vertically by the drive gear 76 rotating once to an arrow i direction and the staple is placed in a sheet bundle. A shielding plate 79 is disposed coaxial with the drive gear 76 and the head 73 stops at a first position forming a small space where a finger is not inserted between time head 73 and the anvil part 72 when an edge part 79a of the shielding plate 79 is detected by a sensor SE44.</p> |
