摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device wherein the color reproduction area of the standard value of the NTSC system is attained without the reduction of brightness and the deviation of hue, without thickening the thickness of the colored layer of a color filter used for the liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device is provided with at least a color filter and a three wavelength type fluorescent lamp. The color filer is formed by using two or more pigments of copper phthalocyanine pigment, azo pigment and isoindolinone pigment for a green coring layer and using copper phthalocyanine pigment and dioxazine violet pigment for a blue coloring layer. The three wavelength type fluorescent lamp is formed by using one of Y2O3: Eu a red light emission fluorescent body, Zn2SiO4: Mn a green light emission fluorescent body, (SrCaBa)5(PO4)3Cl: Eu, BaMg2 Al16O27: Eu, BaMg2 Al16O27: Mn blue light emission fluorescent bodieds.
