MULTI-CHANNEL ICSS FOR TEST AND PERFORMANCE ESTIMATION OF WIDEBAND WIRELESS RELAY APPARATUS AND SIMULATION METHOD THEREFOR

PURPOSE: A multi-channel ICSS(Interference Cancellation System Simulator) for the test and performance estimation of a wideband wireless relay apparatus and a simulation method therefor are provided to perform an effective test in time, space, and cost aspects by simply generating multi-channel signals with several types necessary for testing a relay equipment using a transmission antenna and a reception array antenna. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of RAMs(101) store generation data received from a PC(20) having an ICSS operating program in a designated address suitable for each channel, and transmit the stored data to a plurality of D/A(Digital to Analog) converters (104-1¯104-n) by a control operation of a CPU(102). The CPU(102) collectively controls the entire operation of the ICSS. An EEPROM(Electrically Erasable and Programmable ROM)(103) stores information about the distortion of an amplitude and a phase. A plurality of D/A converters(104-1¯104-n) receive data corresponding to each channel from a plurality of RAMs(101), separate I data and Q data of each channel, convert the I data and Q data into analog signals, and output the analog signals.
