<p>In order to perform simultaneous recording, a plenty of buffers are required and it has been difficult to perform recording simultaneously with reproduction of data recorded by different apparatuses. An information recording medium, a simultaneous recording/reproduction method, and an information recording/reproduction apparatus guaranteeing simultaneous recording/reproduction are provided, wherein data recorded on an area not smaller than a minimum size satisfying a simultaneous recording/reproduction condition capable of four times of accessing is reproduced and data is recorded on an area of size not smaller than that area. When a buffer becomes full, the buffer is switched to recording and when a buffer becomes empty, the buffer is switched to reproduction. Thus, reproduction and recording are performed alternately.</p> |
