<p>The arrangement has a housing, with a sealing flap, pivotable about 90 deg. between an open and a closed position. The sealing flap (30) consists of two driven flap discs (4, 5), symmetrically positioned on either side of the swivel axis. The distance between the flap discs are adjustable. The discs act with seat rings (2, 3) in the housing (1), so that an increase in distance, in the closed position, causes the sealed engagement of each disc on the associated seat ring. The sealing surfaces of disc and rings are truncated cone-shaped, with the larger base surfaces facing each other. The conical angle, the distance between seat rings, and the associated discs, are chosen, so that unimpeded swivelling of the sealing flap is ensured.</p> |
