<p>The goods handling system is particularly for piece goods of different kinds. It has one or more oblong transfer tracks (11), to both sides of which there are transport containers (18) with the goods to be handled. These containers are so arranged that their loading or discharge openings are towards the tracks, along which loading platforms (16) travel. The container to be loaded or unloaded can be so mounted on the platform that its openings are opposite those in the containers to the track sides. The tracks can be inside a warehouse, while the containers are opposite openings in the warehouse walls.</p> |
