OBJECT CONVEYING MONITOR CALIBRATOR AND OBJECT CONVEYING MONITOR USING THE SAME CALIBRATOR

PURPOSE:To eliminate repeating operation of a hand and to improve a calibrating accuracy by providing an apparatus for automatically setting a radiation source at the time of calibrating a large object monitor in which a sensitive region of a detecting unit exceeds a size of the source for a calibration. CONSTITUTION:A calibrator 100 used to calibrate a large object conveying monitor having object-to-be-measured conveying means has a base 4 moving by placing in the conveying means, and a movable trestle 2 having driving means for mounting and moving a radiation source mounting base 101 mounted with radiation source 1 in a sensitive region of a detecting unit in a direction perpendicular to a conveying direction of the conveying means on the base 4. A measuring controller of the monitor prepares a calibration mode program capable of designating and setting calibrating conditions, controls operations of the conveying means for placing the calibrator and the calibrator according to the program at the time of calibrating the monitor to perform a calibrating step.
