PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing plate installing apparatus and its installing method to install the printing plate on a regulated position at high accuracy in a flexography to use a letterpress of a photosensitive resin and the like as a printing plate material. SOLUTION: The printing plate 4 is installed on the regulated position by having a reference board 3 with the same shaped and deep recess portion as a printing area portion at a corresponding position to the printing area portion, an elevating means 12 for a printing plate cylinder 2, a rack 6 to regulate a position to rotational direction of the printing plate cylinder 2 and the elevating means 12 for this rack 6, a gap adjusting means 11 to regulate a descending volume of the elevating means 12, a moving table 5 to move the reference board 3 in parallel, and a printing plate cylinder regulating means 7 to install the printing plate cylinder 2 on the regulated position toward top and bottom direction and toward right and left direction. |
