PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bucket type wheelchair which is made comfortable and multifunctional with a comfortable sitting, a lighter weight and a compact designing along with excellent housing performance by enabling adjusting of the width thereof and reclining. SOLUTION: The bucket type wheelchair 1 has a self-standing type bucket seat 3 which has a back rest 7 and a seat 9 foldably built thereon, wheels 21 and a foot rest 23. A body frame 5 is so arranged as to be separable from the bucket seat 3 while directly bearing the bucket seat 3 from below.
