PURPOSE:To restrict the generation of satellite and flatten a frequency characteristic by a method wherein a piezoelectric body is driven during a period T1 to the direction to reduce the volume of an ink pressurizing chamber, thereafter, the piezoelectric body is driven during the period T2 to the direction to increase the volume of the ink pressurizing chamber. CONSTITUTION:Voltages E1, E2 and the charging periods T1, T2 are preset properly and are impressed to a bimorph. That means to cansel a remained vibration caused in the period T1 and flatten the repeated frequency characteristic by a method wherein ink in the ink pressurizing chamber is pressurized in the part of charging width T1 and the bimorph is deformed into the reverse direction to increase the volume of the ink pressurizing chamber in the part of the charging width T2. For example, in case a head is driven by a double rectangular wave of E1=E2, T1=50musec and T2=35musec, the length of recording dot is L=0.2(mm.) and the repeated frequency characteristic becomes as shown by the diagram. |
