The invention relates to a hinge structure for the formation of a unitary movable warming-cabinet system having panels which can be displaced from a closed operating position into an open or inoperative position. Movable warming cabinets are already known but these have the disadvantage that they are not leak-tight throughout, particularly at the panel joints, allowing heat energy to escape through the openings which are present. The object on which the invention is based is to provide a hinge structure for a unitary warming cabinet by means of which these disadvantages can be eliminated and which also offers better resistant to losses of heat energy. The object is achieved by virtue of the fact that the hinge structure, composed of thermally insulating material, comprises an outer, elongate hinge element (12) which is in the form of a hollow sleeve (14) and which forms an essentially open joint-socket element (17) with an opening angle less than 180 DEG and has an inner elongate hinge element (13) which forms at least one insert resting with a press fit in the joint-socket element (17), rotatable in the latter and guaranteeing uninterrupted thermal insulation of the adjoining panels. <IMAGE>
