Perforated plates having holes arranged in a predetermined grid are located on parts of the chassis frame that are remote from each other. These holes are intended to selectively receive the hub axle of the particular drive wheel, so that individual adjustment of the wheel-chair in terms of height and inclination of the seat is possible. The perforated plates are connected via adjustable fixing screws with supporting strips of the chassis frame in such a manner that within predetermined limits the distance of each corner of the perforated plate from the supporting strips of the chassis frame can be adjusted individually. In this way, it is possible to vary the track and camber of the drive wheels within predetermined limits and adjust them in such a way that the drive wheels do not grind in driving operation and that easy running of the wheel-chair is guaranteed. |
