PURPOSE:To form the direct positive color image having a high max. color density and a low min. image density with rapid and stable, in case of processing the titled material with a color developer having a low pH by providing a photographic emulsion layer contg. a pyrazoloazole magenta coupler selected from specific compds. and an inner latent image type silver halide particle which is not previously fogged, on a substrate body. CONSTITUTION:At least one layer of the photographic emulsion layer contg. at least one kind of the pyrazoloazole magenta coupler selected the compds. shown by formula I and the inner latent image type silver halide particle which is not previously fogged, is provided on the substrate body. In the formula, R1 is hydrogen atom or a substituent, X is hydrogen atom or a group capable of releasing by a coupling reaction with an oxidant of an aromatic primary amine developing agent, Za, Zb and Zc are each a methine group or a substd. methine group, =N- or -NH- group. Thus, the direct positive color image having the very low min. image density is stably obtd. by processing rapidly the titled material. |
