The hot water storage tank (1) supplies water to the heating and tap circuits through the feed pipe (2,2') by means of a pump (4), and returns through the pipe (3). A valve (11) directs the water to the heating circuits (5-9) until the thermostat (17) reaches the appropriate temperature. The valve then switches to the tap circuit through a solenoid valve (13).
