摘要 <p>FIELD: metallurgy, more specifically, processes of steel melting in converters from vanadium iron. SUBSTANCE: method includes supply to converter of metal scrap; pouring vanadium iron to converter; supply of slag-forming materials including lime; top blowing of oxygen through immersing multinozzle lance; measurement of melt temperature; tapping of melt from converter to casting ladle with slag left in converter. Metal scrap is supplied to converter in the amount of 0.2-0.3 of amount of poured pig iron. Oxygen blowing is carried out during the first period of blowing in the amount equalling 0.25-0.35 of the total blowing time and with position of lance at a height H<SB>1</SB> from the level of quiet bath and equalling 30-90 calibers of lance nozzles. Then, slag is discharged and temperature of melt is measured. Should temperature deviate from the preset value, melt is subjected to final blowing or cooling agent is supplied to converter. Then supplied to converter are lime and fluorspar with consumption of 25-40 kg/t and 1.0-1.5 kg/t of melt, respectively. Further on, blowing is carried out with lance positioned at height H<SB>2</SB>, equalling (0.4-0.6)H<SB>1</SB>.. Two-three minutes before ending of blowing, lance is lowered to height H<SB>3</SB> equalling (0.3-0.5)H<SB>1</SB>. Weight of cooling agent supplied to converter is determined by relationship given in the description of the invention.
