3-(2-(4-(4-Fluoro benzoyl) 1-piperidinyl) ethyl) 2,4-(1H, 3H) quinazoline dione of formula (I), for use as an anti-hypertension and anti-serotonin agent, is made by (a) cyclising an isocyanate of formula (II) with an amine of formula (III) in an inert solvent at elevated temp; (b) hydrolysis of the reaction mixt; and (c) opt. forming acceptable salts or obtaining the free base from the salts.
