Channel structure sliding window frame - uses channel section with return flanges for inserting sealing strip and attaching handles

The sliding window structure uses double channels forming guides on part of the frame over which slid narrow channels forming top and bottom window supports. The panes of the window are mounted inside a frame to which the sliders are attached, this sliding frame being made of hollow channels with return flanges. Inside these hollow channels are force fitted rectangular section resilient strips. The hollow channels are attached to corner members each with a part in contact with the open face of the hollow channel, and with arms which fit into the open groove. The channel can incorporate a raised part over which can slide an outer vertical member which can be a hand grip.
