PURPOSE:To prevent misalignment of the center of a bar with a deformed section and flaws on sides of the thick part of the bar by stopping or holding free turning of a die table supported by a shaft in the material feed direction with relation to a die and rolling rollers parallel to the intermittent feed direction of a flat bar material. CONSTITUTION:A work roller 11 supported by a housing 9 rollers the material W in combination with a die 5 on a die table 4 with movement in right and left direction by a crank 13. The die table 4 is supported by a stopper 8 and rolling is performed really on the right-hand half part from the center of the material W. The right-hand half part of the material W is not rolled and rolling on the left-hand half part from the center of the material W is performed really when the work roller 11 is moved left by the housing 9 which does push-in and push-out of stoppers 7 and 8 connected with each other, respectively. Therefore, misalignment of the bar with a deformed section and occurrence of cuttings and voids on sides of the thick part are prevented. Furthermore, the feed of the material W is performed intermittently interlocking with the action of the crank 13. |
