The test controller (1) communicates with the subject (6) via a terminal (2), which is linked into a control computer (3), multi-processor system (4) and an EEC unit (5). Excitation signals are fed to the subject (6) via a second terminal (7) and a special stimulation unit (8). The test controller (1) observes and appraises the condition and behaviour of the subject (6) by evaluating the stored EEG signals, and by the introduction of suitable stimulating effects.
