MANUFACTURE OF COMPOSITE PIPE

摘要

PURPOSE:To keep the air in a rotating mother pipe at a temp. at which no explosive reaction takes place when a thermit reaction is caused in the pipe to form produced layers in the pipe, by allowing the reaction to proceed in a flow of gas flowing in a prescribed direction. CONSTITUTION:A thermit agent 4 is put in a mother pipe 2 in the form of a layer, the thermit agent 4 at one end of the pipe 2 is ignited in the field of centrifugal force, and a thermit reaction is allowed to proceed in a flow of gas flowing from the unignited side toward the ignited side. A metallic layer and a ceramic layer produced by the thermit reaction are unitedly formed on the inside of the mother pipe 2.
