There are disclosed various methods, apparatuses and computer program products for video encoding and decoding. In some embodiments information on bit-depth of a reference block of an image on a first layer and bit-depth of a current block of an image on a second layer is obtained. The obtained information is used to select one or more resampling filter parameters for filtering at least a part of a reference layer image to be used in inter-layer prediction. There are also disclosed corresponding methods, apparatuses and computer program products for video encoding and decoding. |
