<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wrong insertion preventing mechanism of an IC card capable of preventing wrong insertion of a plurality of IC cards into a card housing part, and of surely preventing a wrong insertion operation such as reverse insertion thereof; and an IC card connector equipped with it. <P>SOLUTION: A wrong insertion regulation member 22 constituting a part of a wrong insertion prevention mechanism arranged in a card housing part 14 respectively has shaft parts 22SL and 22SR at both ends, and has a connection part 22t connecting the shaft part 22SL to the shaft part 22SR at its center. The wrong insertion regulation member is structured such that a projecting part 22P having a predetermined height is formed in a part at the left end of the connection part 22t; in the case of a regular insertion hole operation of an MMC micro-card, the front end of the MMC micro-card does not interfere with it; and in the case of upside-down insertion or reverse insertion of the MMC micro-card, a corner at the front end interferes with it to regulate the wrong insertion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
