MACHINE ENCLOSURE

An enclosure for machine tools, such as a CNC machine, is provided. The transformable enclosure may include a series of modules or panels movable between a series of open and closed positions to allow an operator increased control over the production of a particular part and allowing parts of various shapes and dimensions to be machined without the need to switch between multiple machines.

1. A transformable enclosure for an automated machine, comprising:
a plurality of supports selectively connectable in series to define a frame of a selected size, shape, and/or configuration, the frame comprising front, rear, and side sections that at least partially define an interior chamber of a size sufficient to at least partially receive the automated machine therein, and wherein openings are defined along the frame for providing access to the interior chamber and the automated machine housed therein; and a plurality of modules at least partially supported by and movable along the supports between a plurality of locations selected to at least partially close or at least partially open the openings for controlling and providing varying levels of access to the interior chamber to enable access to the interior chamber while substantially reducing escape and/or exposure to debris or particulates generated from operation of the automated machine.
