receiving, from a first application executed in an information processing device, a first request for setting a first communication mode to specified communications between the information processing device and another device, the first communication mode being a communication mode in which a speed of communications has a higher priority than a power saving of communications; receiving, from a second application executed in the information processing device, a second request for setting a second communication mode to the specified communications, the second communication mode being a communication mode in which the power saving of communications has a higher priority than the speed of communications; and controlling the specified communications after receiving the first request and the second request, the first communication mode being set to the specified communications when the first application performs the specified communications, the second communication mode being set to the specified communications when the first application does not perform the specified communications.
