An active scanning processing method and related device and a communication system. The active scanning processing method comprises: an access point sending, at a receiving station of a first available channel, a detection request frame; the access point sending, at one sub-channel of multiple sub-channels of the first available channel, a detection response frame corresponding to the detection request frame; and the access point receiving, at the first available channel, an acknowledgement frame sent by the station with respect to the detection response frame. The technical solution provided by the embodiment of the present invention is beneficial to reducing the number of collisions for competition between the access points, and further reducing competition overhead and communication resource waste, and improving the overall performance of a system. |
