PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vent piece for restraining rubber from being bitten between a head and a piece main body.SOLUTION: The vent piece 5 for a tire vulcanizing metal mold has: the cylindrical piece main body 51 which is fit in a vent hole of the tire vulcanizing metal mold and has a hollow part SP as an exhaust path; and the head 50 to be disposed in the hollow part SP. The head 50 is formed into a circular cross-sectional shape. A pair of circular-arc seating surfaces 53, 53 each having a circular-arc cross-sectional shape for holding the head 50 are formed at the metal mold inner end portion of the hollow part SP at the positions that the head 50 is held therebetween. A clearance is set between the circular-arc seating surface 53 and the head 50. The head 50 is held rotatably by the piece main body 51 in such a state that a part of the head 50 is projected into the inside of the metal mold from the tip surface 52 of the piece main body 51. |
