A metal-doped quantum dot. When an intrinsic quantum dot is doped with a metal element, the resulting quantum dot can have fluorescent stability at high temperature and thus does not quench. Further, the metal-doped quantum dot is used to manufacture red, green and blue quantum dot medium layers (15, 14, 13), and these quantum dot medium layers are encapsulated in an LED device (10). White light is then obtained by mixing the red, green and blue lights. In addition, an LED light strip (1) can be manufactured using the LED device (10), which has a simple structure and is suitable for a side-lit backlight module and facilitates ultra-thin and narrow bezel product designs. |
