This terminal device is provided with: a communication unit which uses a first frequency band or a second frequency band to communicatively connect to a first network; a detecting unit which detects second network communication executed by using the second frequency band; and a control unit which stops the communication unit from using the second frequency band, when the result detected by the detecting unit satisfies a prescribed interference avoidance condition.
