[Class 75 (ii)] In a wall, ceiling, or other lamp, light from an elongated light source 1 passes by or through a main reflector 2 to a subsidiary reflector 3 which is further from the source, and is reflected to the under or outer surface of the main reflector. The main reflector 2 is built up from strips of metal of curved section. The subsidiary reflector 3 may embody or carry a channel 4 enclosing the electrical conductors, chokes, switches, and other control gear required for electric discharge tubes. A wall or cornice lighting unit comprises in effect half the ceiling unit shown. The undersides of either or both of the reflectors 2, 3 may be coloured. According to the Provisional Specification, the reflector 3 may be coloured to reflect coloured light on to the reflector 2. |
