A method of teaching, coaching or demonstrating a task to a student in which an image of the student 200 performing the task is recorded and displayed together with an exemplary demonstration of the task 202 as performed by a tutor, which has been pre-recorded and is sized and positioned with reference to the student. The two recordings are synchronised by the user using a scrubbing technique and the user then identifies one or more reference or node points 204 one the recorded image that correspond with points on the exemplary image for comparison by computer software that presents to the user, based on the comparison, recommendations as to how the action can be improved. A second invention of the application is described as follows: At 400 a live broadcast is depicted, in this case a golf tournament. The broadcast 400 is depicted on a television screen 410 of a user 420, substantially in real time. In a television studio, represented by 430, which may be close to the site of the live broadcast, or may be remote there from, a commentator or pundit 440 records segments of video analysis. The video image is sent to a server 450. The video clip of the commentator 440 is then downloadable by the user 420 using a device such as a mobile phone or tablet 460. The user can then view the additional content the video segment of the commentator 440on his device 460. Using the techniques of positioning and anchoring as described herein, the user 420 can enjoy the video segment 440 as though the commentator were present in the room, by viewing the room through a camera of the device 460. |
