PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a worker's burden and to control a decrease in bookbinding processing efficiency, in perfect binding bookbinding of a paper bundle printed by a digital printer.SOLUTION: In a bookbinding system which achieves a perfect binding of an offset-printed printing sheet by connecting a perfect binding bookbinding machine 18 and a horizontal gathering machine 11 by conveyors C1-C3 and conveying a paper bundle prepared by the horizontal gathering machine 11 to the perfect binding bookbinding machine 18 through the conveyors C1-C3, a paper accumulating machine 7 for accumulating and carrying digital-printed sheets of paper carried into the horizontal gathering machine 11 in the arranged order of booklets, for each booklet, is arranged, and paper sheet bundles carried out of the paper accumulating machine 7 are mounted on a conveyor C10 derived from the horizontal gathering machine 11 and are conveyed to the perfect binding bookbinding machine 18 through the horizontal gathering machine 11. Both machine bookbinding by offset printing and machine bookbinding by digital printing are automated accordingly. |
