PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental implant made of bioactive glass fibers, the implant having a high tensile strength, a structural strength, and a property to promote a firm synostosis.SOLUTION: A dental implant includes a fixture 110 and an abutment 120. The fixture 110 and the abutment 120 are made of a fiber-reinforced resin in which the fibers F form a knitted or woven structure. The knitted or woven structure with the fibers F consists of a central fiber axis 10 penetrating the knitted or woven structure longitudinally and multiple rope-like fiber axes 20 crossing each other to surround the central fiber axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
