PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact microwave heating device that is configured to be capable of uniformly heating a heating target in a heating chamber, particularly a heating target mounted at a center area of the heating chamber, and can perform local heating.SOLUTION: A waveguide structure antenna (5) in a microwave heating device has a joint unit (7) which guides microwaves of a transmission unit (4) to a space of a waveguide structure and is rotatable by a rotating unit (15), and a waveguide structure portion (8) which is joined to the joint unit and regulates the space of the waveguide structure. The waveguide structure portion has a tip open portion (13) for radiating microwaves transmitted from the joint unit to the space of the waveguide structure, plural microwave drafting openings (14) which are formed in the neighborhood of the rotational center of the waveguide structure portion, form the microwaves in the space of the waveguide structure into circular polarization waves and radiate the circular polarization waves, and a flat area between two microwave drafting openings which confront each other through a tube axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
