<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-use electronic device. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic device comprises: a display unit that performs display; an illumination unit that can illuminate the display unit provided with a mirror; an imaging unit that images a user when the display unit does not perform display; and a detection unit that detects the state of the user when the display unit does not perform display.
