摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having excellent cycle durability.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a negative electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes the steps of: preparing a copper foil 21 having a first principal surface 21a and a second principal surface 21b on the side opposite to the first principal surface 21a; obtaining a granulated body 4 by mixing and granulating a negative electrode active material, a thickening material, a binding material, and a solvent; obtaining a first negative electrode mixture layer 22a by compression-molding the granulated body 4; arranging the first negative electrode mixture layer 22a on the first principal surface 21a; and softening the copper foil 21 by bringing a roll 93 heated to a temperature higher than or equal to a recrystallization temperature of the copper foil 21 into contact with the second principal surface 21b with the first negative electrode mixture layer 22a arranged on the first principal surface 21a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
