A device for supporting and keeping fresh a cake which has been cut comprises an L-shaped piece of polycarbonate or acrylic which is placed or pushed adjacent the cut edge of the cake. The device supports the cake to prevent toppling, and provides a barrier limiting exposure to air which assists in keeping the cake fresh. The device may bear information such as a logo, or information concerning the cake, such as allergens or suitability for vegetarians. |
