PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator for a superconducting motor in which reduction of torque is decreased.SOLUTION: A stator 3 comprises: a plurality of superconducting coils 32 which are formed by winding a superconducting tape wire material in such a manner that the superconducting tape wire material is laminated in a direction vertical to a tape surface; and a stator core 31 which is formed in a hollow columnar shape and with which a plurality of inner slots 311 extending in an axial direction are formed in a circumferential direction on an inner circumferential wall surface and a plurality of outer slots 312 extending in the axial direction are formed in the circumferential direction on an outer circumferential wall surface. The superconducting coil 32 includes: a first linear part 321 that is disposed within the inner slot 311; a second linear part 322 that is disposed within the outer slot 312; a first arcuate part 323 which connects one end of the first linear part 321 and one end of the second linear part 322; and a second arcuate part 324 which connects another end of the first linear part 321 and another end of the second linear part 322.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
