PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferrule capable of suppressing adhesion of dusts to a lens.SOLUTION: A ferrule 1 comprises: a front end 3a and a rear end 3b; a side face 3c for connecting the front end 3a and the rear end 3b; an introduction part 5 formed on the rear end 3b, and introducing a light waveguide member Fa; an opening part 7 formed on the side face 3c, and having a first face 7a on the front end 3a side, and a second face 7b on the rear end 3b side; a holding part 11 for holding the light waveguide member Fa; and a lens 13 formed on the front end 3a or the first face 7a, and optically connected to the light waveguide member Fa.
