The present disclosure is related to a simplified method for the production of huitlacoche in both outdoors and greenhouses without the strict need of laboratory material; or having a profound knowledge of biological systems. The method comprises as a first step obtaining huitlacoche from the same parcel to be infested, followed by the simple preparation of a base solution to perform the step of infestation of the tender corn ears or corn still growing in cornfields, and finally waiting for a period of 7 to 15 days; all of this through a simple technique allowing this method to be implemented in any cornfield with easily accessible materials in almost any rural area in Mexico and by any corn producer with basic knowledge of production, allowing the surplus value of the cornfields to be partially or totally increased. |
