An elevator apparatus provided with a passenger car; a counterweight; a hoist for driving the lifting and lowering of the passenger car and the counterweight; a machine base for supporting the hoist; and a machine beam for supporting the machine base; wherein the elevator apparatus has an extension section extending from the machine base to the passenger car side, and a stopper plate attached to an end section of the extension section, wherein the stopper plate is sandwiched between two horizontal vibration control rubber parts, and wherein the stopper plate and the two horizontal vibration control rubber parts are sandwiched between two brackets. Due to this configuration, the present invention is able to provide a hoist assembly that collects the horizontal vibration control structure for the hoist of the elevator apparatus on the car side. |
