PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin fine particle dispersion which can be added to ink for inkjet recording as a composition for a binder, and which has excellent dispersion stability in an aqueous medium and high adsorption of a coloring material such as a pigment.SOLUTION: A resin fine particle dispersion contains an aqueous medium and resin fine particles dispersed in the aqueous medium by a polymer dispersant. In the resin fine particle dispersion, the polymer dispersant is a copolymer having a structural unit P derived from a benzimidazolinone derivative represented by following general formula (1) (R: a 2-12C alkyl group or the like, R: a 2-4C alkylene group, and R: a hydrogen atom or the like).SELECTED DRAWING: None
