PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling container mainly for cut vegetables, a container in which foodstuffs can be stored at low cost at a prescribed temperature less than 0°C which keeps vegetables or the like fresh.SOLUTION: A cooling container 1 for mainly cut vegetables includes: a storage part 2 for storing foodstuffs; a housing 3 for surrounding at least the side faces of the storage part 2 with a space apart; an antifreezing water solution 5 which is filled in a space part 4 of an interval between the storage part 2 and the housing 3, and which hardly freezes; and a cooling means 6 which cools the antifreezing water solution 5. The cooling container is characterized in that, in the space part 4, the frozen antifreezing water solution 5 and the unfrozen antifreezing water solution 5 are coexistent with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
