The present invention provides an image display device for realizing a flat image and a 3D image without the degradation of image quality. The image display device includes an image panel, a 3D light guide plate which is arranged in the lower part of the image panel and has light emitting patterns on a lower surface, a flat light guide plate which is formed in the 3D light guide plate, and a first light source and a second light source which are respectively arranged on the 3D light guide plate and the flat light guide plate and are selectively operated.
