Provided is a telematics terminal for providing an item for triggering purification of air inside a vehicle. The terminal comprises: a communication part for receiving external weather information from a telematics center; a display part for displaying the received weather information; and a control part for controlling at least one item for triggering the function of purifying air inside a vehicle to be displayed if the external weather information is not appropriate for preset air pollution criteria. Accordingly, user convenience can be improved.
