PURPOSE: To quickly follow an optimum gain in the case of a quick reception level variance for reception start or a quick level variance in the stable state. CONSTITUTION: A level variance estimating part 141 estimates the level variance in accordance with a measured reception intensity signal and a forecasted reception intensity signal and generates an indication signal, which instructs a gain control value calculation part 144 not to add the reception intensity error, and gives this signal to an adder 1442 of the gain control value calculation part 144. A forecasted reception intensity calculation part 145 forecasts the intensity of a reception signal to be next measured in accordance with the present gain control value to obtain the forecasted reception intensity for the next gain control and gives it to the level variance estimating part 141. |
