PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing mechanism that can cancel an inverted state of a lip part even in a configuration where the direction of attachment of a sealing member is irreversible in the direction of insertion, a developing device, and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A sealing mechanism includes a shaft 55, a sealing member 60 that is inserted from the tip S of the shaft into a predetermined attachment position G along the longitudinal direction of the shaft, and a lip part 61 that is provided on the inner peripheral surface of the sealing member and reduced in diameter toward the direction of insertion of the sealing member. The shaft has a space 56 for restoration that is provided between the tip of the shaft to the attachment position to cancel an inverted state occurring to the lip part, and the space for restoration is formed, on the attachment position side, in a tapered shape 56a rising gradually toward the attachment position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
