1. A wheel assembly comprising:
a spindle; a wheel hub rotatable relative to the spindle; a seal mounted between the spindle and the wheel hub, wherein the seal is a mechanical face seal including a first seal ring, a second seal ring, a first O-ring, and a second O-ring, the first seal ring having a first face sealing surface and the second seal ring having a second face sealing surface, the first face sealing surface and the second face sealing surface in contact and rotatable relative to each other, the first O-ring in sealing contact with an O-ring sealing surface of the first seal ring, and the second O-ring in sealing contact with an O-ring sealing surface of the second seal ring, the spindle, the wheel hub, and the seal defining a sealed cavity; and at least one bearing mounted between the spindle and the wheel hub within the sealed cavity, the at least one bearing facilitating rotation of the wheel hub relative to the spindle. |
